A Beginner'S Crash Course - 90 Minute Introduction to Zen Meditation

Are you serious about meditating daily but don't know where to start? The Beginner's Crash Course is for people who are intent on making meditation a daily habit but need a little help getting started.

The next class is Wednesday, May 13 at 7:30pm EDT. Click here to sign up.

In 2007 I was a mess.

I graduated college, bought a house, got married and started my first professional job all in 3 months! I was stressed out, deeply cynical and couldn't sleep. I was drinking too much, gained a lot of weight and started to go into debt. Fortunately, a friend introduced me to a group that got together and meditated once a week. My journey began.

I am now a student of Zen Buddhism who meditates daily, has enjoyed its benefits and over the last three years have introduced hundreds of people to Zen Meditation (Zazen.) This past year I completed a masters degree in education and devoted my research to improving my meditation instruction; by focusing on research around motivation, habit formation and commitment.

Today I'm a pretty happy guy. Holding onto worry, doubt and anxiety are a thing of the past; they do not rule my life. I find joy in every day, even the tough ones. I'd like to help you learn what I've learned.

This 90 minute class is conducted with a small group of 8 or less to insure you receive the personal attention you need to learn how to meditate. Already got some experience but you want to brush up? You're welcome too.
