Weekly Meditation Group
The Zen Happiness Project is all about our effort to create a community that supports each others' practice.
Once you know how to meditate the real challenge is how to make this a regular part of your life. A weekly group can be a wonderful way to continue to learn and to grow in your practice. Sometimes we just need a scheduled meeting with others to stop and meditate.
We currently gather weekly by phone.
Sunday nights at 9:00pm EST / 6pm PST is a meditation and open discussion group. Tuesday evenings is a similar format also at 9pm/6pm featuring a meditation book for the topic discussion.
The group is an hour long, 100% free and you can join the conference line by calling: (203) 680-9095 and entering Meeting ID: 667101.
- We start pretty promptly with 10 minutes of silent meditation.
- Meeting leader opens with a reading and a short reflection.
- The group takes turns reflecting on the reading or addressing their meditation practice more generally.
- We close with 5 or 10 minutes of meditation depending on the amount of time left.
